Cowboy

Since growing up on the Aubol family ranch David has been a cowboy -- if not literally, as he was up until he went to college, then figuratively and in attitude. With early heroes like Gene Autry and Roy Rodgers he developed a great love for the singing cowboy as a role model. The money David and his brother Mark made raising cattle paid for his 1st two cars, his 1st bass and bass amplifier (thereby getting him his start as a professional musician), and his 1st two years of college.

As Life Members of the Single Action Shooting Society, David and his wife Jane continue to revisit their cowboy roots as often as possible. He regularly sings the National Anthem at the world championship, “End Of Trail” and other SASS events, and enjoys campfire song fests after a long day of shooting.

Range Riders have a practice match the 1st Sunday of Every Month at Founders Ranch.  The New Mexico State Championships will be there April 26-29.  End of Trail the World Championships will be there June 20-24.
